441st. Counter Intelligence Corps : Most of these photographs were taken by SSgt. Fredrick Dale McVay, of Santa Clara, California, who served with the 441st Counter Intelligence Corps during the New Guinea and Philippine campaigns. Mr. McVay was the recipient of the Bronze Star. The photographs were scanned from the originals, which were developed by Mr. McVay in 1947.
